I think this is a 2 way process. Part of my own ADHD issues have always been extreme sleep fragility. Disturbed sleep does nothing for alertness of course- and the cycle continues.

Conversely resolution of my ADHD is improving my sleep, and a positive loop is established.

We have a program that treats ADD/ADHD at our facility without medication that we have been using for ten years now. We also separate out other disorders from ADD/ADHD and often treating the other disorders helps the ADD as noted above.
